Welcome to Bumblebees and Honeybees - Nursery classes.
Our overarching theme for this term is 'Traditional Tales'.
During this half term we will be focusing on the story 'The Billy Goats Gruff'. We will also be revisiting and remembering some of our favourite traditional tales from last half term!
In additon to this, the children will be learning 2 new rhymes each week - one will relate to our maths focus while the other will be a rhyme to support the children's literacy skills. The children will bring copies of these home each week and we would love them to be shared with your family!
Everyday the Bumblebees children participate in a 'Healthy Movers' sessions. These are held in the school hall and involve the children practising movement in a variety of fun and exciting ways. This is always a highlight of the children's day and is a great way of developing independence when taking off and putting back on our shoes and socks.
We use Tapestry to share your child's learning with you and to share class messages so please ensure that you log in regularly.
